![]() Adriano Ambrosini graduated at Conservatorio “Dall’ Abaco” in Verona with M.° R.Bonizzato, and then he studied with B.Canino, M.Damerini e P.L. Aimard. He was suddendly invited by important italian and foreign Music Association, like IRCAM in Paris, International Computer Music Conference, Contemporary Music Festival in L’Avana, Holland Festival in Amsterdam, Camden Festival in London, WissenshaftsKolleg in Berlin, Catalan Composers Association in Barcelona, Festival “Eco e Narciso”, Aterforum, Festival “Venezia Opera prima” at “Teatro La Fenice” in Venice, Biennale Musica 1982, 1985 and 1990, Festival “Nuova Consonanza”, Musica Verticale, “Autunno Musicale” in Como, Amici della Musica di Verona, Vicenza e del Veneto, “Festival Musica ‘900” in Trento, “Società del Quartetto” in Vicenza, “Settimana Musicale Chigiana”, “Spazio Musica” in Cagliari, “Cantiere Internazionale di Montepulciano”, “Sonopolis”, Contemporary Music Festival in Bozen, ecc.
In 1983 he received the prize for the best performance of works by Dutch Composers at the International Competition “Gaudeamus” in Rotterdam. He usually plays with the violinist Enzo Porta and the flautist Anna Maria Morini, recording a CD dedicated to the italian composers Manzoni, Maderna, Guarnieri (Limen Classic). With the Tammittam Percussion Ensemble, he has recorded, first world recording, some pieces by the american composer L.Harrison (Dynamic CDS 401). His performance of Cage Sonatas and Interludes can be found on the website www.limenmusic.com He has played some first performances, like Traiettoria by M.Stroppa for piano and electronic sounds. His performances were broadcasted by RAI (Italian RadioTelevision), Radio France, Holland Radio e Radio of Italian Switzerland. He is piano Professor at the Music Conservatory in Verona and gave master classes in Bruxelles, Glasgow, Helsinki, Tampere, Tallinn, La Coruña. Teaching languages: Italian, English. |
