from 6th til 11th july 2015
Suomitaly - International Music Meeting is a 6 day summer music course/masterclass and a music festival for young music students located in Kankaanpää, Western Finland (95 km from Tampere). The festival is organized for the fourth time in collaboration with Italian cultural associations and the local Music Association Suonala.
Like all festivals, Suomitaly includes concerts, music courses for all levels and the best part: playing together and communicating with music.
The concerts are organized with local artists such as guest artists from Finland and Italy. Also the participants have the possibility to go on stage in different locations around Kankaanpää, such as the new Kankaanpää Hall, Musiikkiopisto Hall and Kankaanpään Kirkko (the church).
The collaborating associations are Diabolus in Musica (Mantova, Italy) and "Accademia Amadeus Piano Project" (Valeggio sul Mincio, Verona).
